Men's Residential Treatment

Men who come to our residential treatment program have found themselves powerless to overcome their addiction through willpower alone. Many of them are influenced by the unique social and environmental pressures that men face their entire lives. In order to successfully address the factors driving male substance abuse, we have established a gender-specific, men’s only treatment center.

Many men are reluctant to seek help because they believe that all they need to do is “toughen up.” Unfortunately, this does not address the emotional, physical, and social issues that contribute to a man’s substance use. In a men’s-only setting, residents are able to bond with other men, explore their feelings, and freely share their emotions. Our men’s facility is a safe place for residents to become vulnerable and begin the work of healing from addiction.

Amenities at our men’s residential treatment center include a pool, nature trail, eight-acre campus, biweekly outings, daily personal training, and daily access to our neurofeedback lab.

Women's Residential Treatment

Augustine Recovery is also home to a women’s facility. Located in historic Downtown St. Augustine, our women’s program is an ideal setting for finding restoration, hope, and recovery.

Trauma is inherent to the female experience. Research shows that nearly 80% of women seeking help for addiction also deal with a history of trauma; after three months in treatment, these women experienced a significant reduction in PTSD and alcohol use disorder symptoms. We know that with trauma-first care, recovery is possible. We have created a safe haven in which women can address addiction and the underlying issues fueling it.

Amenities at our women’s residential treatment center include a newly renovated residential facility equipped with modern conveniences, including a state-of-the-art kitchen, private courtyards, weekly outings, daily personal training, walks in historic downtown St. Augustine, daily access to our neurofeedback lab, and semi-private rooms.
